Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Nutritional therapy, & AcuNova style treatment for Eye Diseases
I have a passionate interest in how Chinese medicine can be used to help liberate patients from limitations to living a life that is spiritually connected, emotionally balanced and physically thriving.
Welcome to Williamstown Acupuncture & Albany County Acupuncture!
My name is Sandy Camper. I received a Master's degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Tai Sophia Institute) in 1995. I studied Chinese herbal medicine with renowned herbalist and author Ted Kaptchuk. I continue my study of the pulse by completing a 2 year, post-graduate clinical integration mentorship, The Inner Tradition of Chinese Medicine & Advanced Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, with renowned Five Element Acupuncture scholar, author & teacher, Lonny Jarrett. In 2011, I traveled to Denmark to study an innovative method of acupuncture for the treatment of pain, injury & eye diseases with John Boel Jr. & John Boel Sr. This method of treatment utilizes newly discovered points at the hands and feet not associated with any other acupuncture system. Utilizing this method of treatment, thousands of people have experienced improvements in their vision.
My treatments utilize Five Element constitutional diagnosis as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine for optimal healing & wellness.
My services include Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional advice and meditation instruction to those in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts & the Capitol Region of NY (Albany, Schenectady, Troy). In addition to the treatment of a wide variety of health conditions which include women's health (painful, irregular periods, endometriosis, fertility issues, menopausal conditions), digestive disorders (IBS, inflammatory bowel diseases, GERD), chronic pain conditions (back, neck, joint), upper respiratory conditions (asthma, allergies, frequent colds/flu), emotional issues (anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD), I specialize in treating eye diseases such as Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Stargardts' Disease and others.
